United Methodist Women (UMW) is a group of women organized for mission and participation in the global ministries of the church. Church-wide unit meetings are held at various times throughout the year for fellowship and study.

Our Purpose

  • Know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ
  • Develop a creative, supportive fellowship
  • Expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church

About the UMW Circles

Several circles, or small groups within UMW, meet regularly:

  • The Guild Circle, composed largely of working women, meets in the homes of members at 7:00 p.m. on the second Monday of months when there is no unit meeting of UMW. For more information, please call Ann Harmon, 817-488-2436.
  • Wesley Friendship Circle, the only daytime circle, meets at 9:30 a.m. on the first Monday of each month (Sept.-June) in Roundtable Room. Contact: Barbara Evartt, 817-283-0682..
  • Susanna Circle, organized for working women in their 40's and 50's, meets at 7:00 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month, September through May, in the Library. For more information, please call Betty Graham, 817-424-3170.
  • The Hispanic Circle meets the first Sunday of each month at 10:00 AM in the Founders Chapel Atrium. For more information, contact Rachel Dixon, 817-442-0583.
