Giving Back

A young woman came in to the church office today with a load of canned goods to donate to God Can. A couple of years ago, she was in need of financial assistance and was referred to us by GRACE. The church gave her funds from the Benevolence Fund to help pay her rent. And now she wanted to pay back the favor by giving back. In celebrating her boyfriend's birthday, she asked all of their friends to bring canned goods instead of gifts. Today, she filled up one God Can shelf and part of another, and hopes to be back with more canned goods the next time they have a party with their friends! The circle of giving continues...
