I did it again. Went in to do my grocery shopping and left my eco-friendly tote bags in the trunk. And so I have once again come home with more plastic bags! I used to get to the check outline and say, "Oh Darn!" And now I joyfully think, "Oh PLARN!" What a blessing knowing I can bring my bags to church. You've heard of the gift that keeps on giving? That is how I look at volunteering or serving. I volunteer, I get back. I serve, I find joy. When our church recently hosted a very large celebration of a life well-lived, the family left many beautiful flowers with us, inviting us to take and share them with others.
